[edit]Pattathu Rani was produced by Sunbeam and G. K. Combines,[2] directed by S. Ramanathan,[3] and written by Javar Seetharaman. Cinematography was handled by G. Vittal Rao and editing by Paul Duraisingam.[1][4]
Music
[edit]The music was composed by T. K. Ramamoorthy, and the lyrics were written by Vaali, Alangudi Somu and Thanjaivanan.[5]
Release
[edit]Pattathu Rani was released on 14 January 1967,[2] during the festive occasion of Pongal,[6] and was distributed by Venkatachalapathy Pictures.[1] Kalki criticised the film's outdated story.[7]
